Girgit TWO table lamp

Red is the hardest colour to put in a room. It carries weight, it moves the eye first, and most pieces that use it end up shouting. Girgit TWO doesn't, because of what sits above it.

Two segments of deep tomato red form the body of the column, glazed glossy and fired so the colour pools and shifts slightly down each curve. Above them, a single drum of warm grey does the quiet work — cooling the transition into the white linen shade so the red reads deliberate rather than loud. A thin dark disc marks the junction between them, the way a good frame separates a picture from a wall.

Each segment is thrown, kiln-fired, and glazed individually before being stacked and joined into a single form, which is why the colour can change mid-column at all. No two lamps in the same colourway come out identical.

The column sits on a solid brushed metal base and is topped with a wide white linen drum shade that throws a soft, generous warm light.
