A small number of soap dishes were produced to explore the philosophy of keeping soap dry after each use and to determine the best materials for this purpose. Additionally, a few options were created using non-glazed terracotta, which proved to be ineffective as the material absorbed water and eventually released it back onto the soap, resulting in increased moisture. However, the majority of these shapes and designs were successful in keeping the soap drier. The exploration is ongoing, with the next material being glazed ceramic and porcelain.
