Girgit EIGHT Table Lamp

EIGHT is everything the series can do, reduced to a single detail. All white, glossy and continuous down the whole column — and then one red disc between the top two segments, and nothing else.

That restraint is the whole idea. With no colour to separate the drums, the lamp reads as one clean sculptural form first and a lamp second. The stacking rhythm, the rounded shoulders, the gloss of the glaze — all of it comes forward when the colour steps back. The red announces itself only once you're close, a quiet punchline rather than a headline.

This is the Girgit for a room that's already resolved, where a full colourway would be too much but a plain white lamp would be too little. It gives you the form and the craft without the commitment to a palette.

Each segment is thrown, kiln-fired, and glazed individually before being stacked and joined into a single form. The glossy white glaze pools and shifts subtly down each curve, so no two lamps come out identical.

The column sits on a solid brushed metal base and is topped with a wide white linen drum shade that throws a soft, generous warm light.
