Girgit SEVEN table lamp

SEVEN is the most optimistic piece in the collection, and it knows it. Two segments of bright citrus yellow stack up top, and the whole thing sits on a brass base that warms the colour from below.

Left alone, that much yellow could tip into something childlike. What holds it back is the pale powder blue at the base — a cool, soft counterweight that grounds the brightness and keeps it sophisticated. The brass adds warmth at the foot, so the yellow reads rich rather than plastic.

This one wants room to breathe. Against a white or plaster wall with space around it, the colour sings; crowded into a busy corner, it loses the clarity that makes it work. Give it the wall and it becomes the reason the room feels awake.

Each segment is thrown, kiln-fired, and glazed individually before being stacked and joined into a single form. The glossy glaze pools and shifts subtly down each curve, so no two lamps in the same colourway come out identical.

The column sits on a solid brass base and is topped with a wide white linen drum shade that throws a soft, generous warm light.
