Mohni Table Lamp [Totem series]

Mohni is mostly ceramic, built from mold-made pieces in a deep, glossy red that catches the light differently at every curve.

At the very top sits a small piece I turned on the lathe myself, lacquered in the same red as the ceramic below it, followed by a ring in green ceramic that breaks up the colour before it continues down the piece. A thin blue accent sits nestled between two black painted aluminum plates, the spacers that separate the lamp's two red ceramic sections from one another. The whole piece stands on a silver metal base, simple and unadorned, letting the red carry the lamp.

Mohni comes with a choice of two shades, both printed with designs of my own. One layers a close portrait with bold overlaid type. The other combines a masked figure with fragments of vintage poster text. Both are reverse printed onto a clear sticker and set on the inside of the shade, so the full image only comes through once the lamp is lit. This is one lamp, and you choose the shade that speaks to you.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece from the Totem series. I design, shape, and finish each one myself. No two pieces in this series are the same, and once this lamp is gone, it will not be made again.
