Chanda Floor Lamp – Anmol

A lathe does not let you rush. The wood turns, the tool meets it, and the shape arrives at whatever pace the material allows. Chanda was made that way, segment by segment, each one turned from solid maple until the column found its rhythm.

Chanda Anmol keeps everything quiet. Every turned waist is finished in soft matte white organic milk paint, so the piece reads as a single sculptural column and lets the maple grain carry the interest.

At 64 inches the lamp reads as a totem before it reads as a light. It stands rather than occupies, and it looks as considered from across the room as it does up close.

Handcrafted in Toronto from solid maple, turned on the lathe and finished in organic milk paint, on a brushed metal base.

Comes with a grey linen drum shade. A white shade is available on request.
