Jhoomkay Paper Weight

Designed by Tahir Mahmood as a set of three paperweights, Jhoomkay brings the warmth of local rosewood and the character of hand craftsmanship to the desk. Each piece is turned by hand on a wood lathe in our Lahore workshop, Pakistan.

The set uses the same colouring technique found in many of our other Pakistan-crafted designs, including our mortar and pestle and selected lamps. This shared approach to colour connects Jhoomkay to a wider family of objects, each shaped by the materials and craft of its making.

Use them to hold papers in place or display the three together as a colourful grouping on a desk or shelf.

Available now, sold exclusively as a set of three paperweights. Individual pieces are not sold separately.
